Spyrock OG By Henry’s Original

We bought Spyrock OG at the Connected in Sacramento. Most of our visits to Connected are impromptu and we tend to buy weed by how it looks and smells. The design on Henry’s jars is simple and it appeals to my tastes. So we asked the bud-tender if we could get a closer look at it. The flower looked nice, so we bought it.

Smoking Spyrock OG

This strain is standard in terms of looks and flavor. It tastes smooth and it doesn’t taste bad. The one thing that really stands out, for me, is the high. My partner doesn’t like it, but for me, the high is everything my brain needs.

Smell, Taste, & Texture

  • Down-jar
  • Flowerless stems are an occupational hazard
  • Almost ready to go

Henry’s sells sun-grown heirloom strains. For sun-grown weed, Spyrock OG smells super clean. It’s not mind-blowing, but I’d be lying if I said it isn’t pleasant. The flower doesn’t smell like much. Mostly it’s herbaceous and smells clean.

The flavor is also simple. This strain doesn’t taste like anything in particular. However, it doesn’t taste bad. It doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste. Overall this flower is smooth and tastes clean.

The flower also has a nice texture. It’s not super dense, nor is it super fluffy. The texture isn’t too soft or too firm. The flower is a healthy green color with little color variation.

Experience & Effects

I love Spyrock OG. The high affects me in such a positive way. It slowly gains momentum and then peaks within 20 minutes. The effects are all cerebral; specifically, the high awakens my right hemisphere and mutes my left hemisphere. So after smoking this strain I become much more creative. While under its influence, I don’t overthink my creative process. Instead, I feel it and move with it. This strain totally shifts my cognitive functions and I love it. I wish I had more.

Summary

I’ve said it already, but I’ll say it again. I love Spyrock OG. No strain has ever affected me as positively as this strain did. I truly understood myself a lot more after I smoked this weed. It turns out the side of me that I thought was voiceless wasn’t actually voiceless. I just didn’t bother to understand what I was trying to say. I feel like smoking this weed has made me undergo a permanent change. A positive change. In which I will no longer disregard myself.

Check out Henry’s website if you want to learn more about their splendiferous weed. You can also look em up at the Connected website to see if they have any in stock. If you decide to get some, tell em we sent ya ;).

Spyrock OG is the best weed that I have smoked all year. Mostly because the high is exceptional, and it's effects have topped all others.
