Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The actual “high” is quite mellow and is not overwhelming at all, however the medicinal effects are nothing short of superior. Enjoy this one wherever it can be found, as it is perhaps one of the best medicinal strains recently created.
Otto #1 was created using an FSL 1-3 mother to breed with a male Nepali Watermelon Hashplant. This crossing produced a strain that boasts winter wonderland buds, absolutely caked with trichomes and with a slight blue/silver/pink hue. If there’s one thing that gives Otto #1 away, it is usually the intoxicating smells of lavender, fruit and hash, making for quite a delectable combination of aromas and flavors. One thing about this strain is that it was not bred to be a recreational strain. It can certainly be used for that, but the majority of users choose Otto #1 for its dominant medicinal effects. Strains that are high in CBD are becoming increasingly popular among medical cannabis users, and this strain can have as much as 27 times the amount of CBD as it does THC. The breeder selectively bred this strain out so it has some of the highest CBD content around. Conversely, it also has some of the lowest THC around.
The flowering time of Otto #1 remains fairly consistent, with these ladies typically being ready for harvest after around 9 or 9.5 weeks. Sometimes 10 weeks is required for them to fully complete this cycle. The breeder recommends cultivating these ladies in soil and feeding moderate amounts of nutrients. The yield is somewhat low, however, that isn’t too surprising, considering this is a strain which concentrates the majority of its energy on producing quality, medicinal buds. These ladies also have a relatively high calyx-to-leaf ratio, which will make harvesting that much simpler. Enjoy Otto #1 wherever it can be found.
